The blue lotus (Nymphaea
caerulea) belongs to the Nymphaeaceae (Water-Lily) family.
The blue lotus has several common names including: Egyptian lotus,
blue water lily, and sacred blue lily of the Nile. It should not
be confused with the "blue lily" or Agapanthus africanus,
a plant of an entirely different genus.
It is believed to have been used by the ancient Egyptians as a
medicine and ritual herb soaked in wine synergizes well, it has
also been noted that the flowers were sometimes smoked for a mild
sedative effect.

Fly
Agaric (Amanita muscaria)
Psychoactive Amanitas are mushrooms which contain the psychoactive
chemicals ibotenic acid and muscimol.
They have a long history of use in Asia and Northern Europe. They
are best known for their distinctive appearance bright reds and
yellows with white spots.
The Vikings used A.muscaria to enter the "beserker"
state for battle. The Icelandic name for the fly agaric contains
the word 'berserk' in it.
A.muscaria are cured at source, they are picked and taken to
special drying chambers 170-200F this process turns some ibotenic
acid into muscimol which is believed to be most active.

Psychotria viridis
is a shrub or small tree with small red fruit and long, narrow
leaves. It is found throughout the Amazon and in the tropical
regions of both hemispheres. Chacruna is a relative of the coffee
plant.
This very special strain is collected by Santo Daime, Uniao do
Vegetal and Barquinha churches in Brazil, and known to the shaman
as ‘Black Queen’.
Chacruna is the most common companion to Banisteriopsis Caapi to
produce Ayahuasca (Yage, Yaje), a sacred medicine used for
millennia in order to enter the sacred supernatural world, to
heal, divine, and worship.

Throughout the
Amazon basin this woody jungle liana is revered as the "vine
of soul" or "vine of the dead”.
Misosa Hostilis is one of the primary ingredients in the sacred
and powerfully entheogenic Ayahuasca brews. Though many different
plants are often incorporated as admixtures, B. caapi is clearly
one of the shaman's "most efficient tools" (Raffauf
& Schultes 1992).
Tryptamine-rich plants like Psychotria viridis and Mimosa hostilis
become orally active when combined with the MAO-inhibiting
alkaloids of B. caapi.

tradition in Peru for over 3,000 years. The earliest depiction of
the cactus is a carving which shows a mythological being holding
the San Pedro
It belongs to the Chavín culture (c. 1400-400 BC) and was found
in an old temple at Chavín de Huantar in the northern highlands
of Peru, and dates about 1300 BC.
It is known as the ‘Peruvian Torch’, the Chavin culture belied
it gave them powers of insight a visual force transmitting oneself
across time and matter like a kind of removal of one's thought to
a distant dimension.

Archaeological remains of Anadenanthera colubrina have been found
all throughout South America and the West Indies.
The two species of trees in the Anadenanthera genus (A. peregrina
and A. colubrina) both have hallucinogenic properties and have
been widely used to make powerful psychoactive snuffs or smoked in
American Indian cultures.
Anadenanthera is one of the four most widely used types of
psychoactive substance in traditional South American Indian
cultures, along with tobacco, Ayahuasca and Virola species.
The antiquity of Anadenanthera use has been confirmed by important
